MI Faculty Justin Aspergis (Bass), Sammy J Watson (drums), Brian "Hacksaw" Williams (Vocals), and MI Production staff Mike Ellenshaw will perform at Molly Malone's on August 31st. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Golden West Chapter of the ALS Association. ALS or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or "Lou Gehrig's Disease" is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The degeneration of motor nerve cells affects voluntary muscle action progressively, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.

To help support this cause and enjoy live music with faculty and friends, come by Molly Malone's (575 S. Fairfax Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90036) at 8:30 PM on August 31. Tickets are $8 pre-sale (contact mellenshaw@mac.com) or $10 at the door. The event is 21+.
