Which tapes and records influenced you the most in your life?
Records that have influenced me most in my life, I would say are song like Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back To Me” or “Lady Marmalade” then songs from James Brown and, undoubtedly, some Missy Elliott.
What the most important lesson you’ve learned at MI so far? What has surprised you the most about MI?
At MI, the most important thing I have learned is the importance and value of staying in contact with people you meet at the school and following through. What surprised me the most about the school was how many talented people attended.
My favorite memory in the audio engineering program has to be recording a full live band in studio C in class with Mark Nonisia; so much fun multi-tasking, setting up engineering mixing and adjusting levels/affects all at the same time, and of course running the API 1608 analog console; amazing.
Where do you find the inspiration to pick up your instrument /practice everyday?
